I don't know if he knocked him out or the guy was just playing dead

Did anyone think to themselves - what's up with the red pants?

If the driver would have been me, firstly I would have died of a minor heart attack.

This is a very negative attitude. Why would someone do such an awful thing?

Is this another publicity stunt? There was a similar exotic car assault a few months back that turned out to be a stunt.

There is a valuable lesson here. In today’s society where everybody is always filming everything never wear pants you don’t want to end up on YouTube wearing.

What an idiot and completely disrespectful. I thought the owner showed a lot of restraint given the circumstances.

This reminds me of all of these modern day social media “influencers” who creating a following by causing mayhem on unsuspecting people. It’s scary to think how far someone will go to get a “fan base.”

Despite my previous joke and in all seriousness (and if this wasn’t staged) yes he should have. Even without damage if that had occurred here I would certainly discuss with the DA charging:

PEN Penal
Article 145 (145.00 - 145.70) CRIMINAL MISCHIEF AND RELATED OFFENSES

145.25
Reckless endangerment of property.
A person is guilty of reckless endangerment of property when he recklessly engages in conduct which creates a substantial risk of damage to the property of another person in an amount exceeding two hundred fifty dollars.
Reckless endangerment of property is a class B misdemeanor.

We don’t use it often but in this case it fits. You can actually see the windshield buckle. I think we can all agree he was acting recklessly and personally I’m shocked there was no damage therefore I believe there is as a substantial risk. He should not just get a free pass to do this until he damages something.

But again they very easily could have been filming an episode of “what would you do?”

Maybe the vandal is after a money grab. "If I run over this guy's car then he will surely beat me... then I could sue him."

Not a fan of 'street justice' but after more or less, getting away with it the first time, the jerk comes back and attempts to do it again. Then, after he's stopped and pushed to the ground, he doesn't let it end there and let the guy drive away. Instead, he gets up again and once more starts moving towards the car.

Not much in the way of sympathy for this fool.

If the driver only had some zip ties in your glove box he could have zip tied his hands/feet, call the police and file a report. That little stunt should cost that punk.
