newbie question here on the White Gold Daytona

Looking to buy a White Gold Daytona (with white gold band). Is there ANY difference between lets say a 2005 White Gold and the latest 2007 with the Z serial numbers? I know the Stainless Steel has the Rolex engraved inner bezel, fatter hands, plus "solid extended links"? Do these changes also apply to the white gold daytona?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. looking around on eBay and seems the going rate for these are in the $20k to $22k....should i be looking elsewhere? am i better off buying used for $18k? thanks again!!

Jack

I have wanted a Rolex Daytona since I was 11 years old. I am 32 now, and I think I have waited long enough lol. This is what I am getting for sure;)

Well, if your heart is set on a WG Daytona my AD just got one in. They took it out of the safe the other day for me. Amazing!!!!!!!! All I can say is WOW!

Its in thier display case now. If you want it and can get a cheap flight up to Portland I am sure I can land it for you at a nice discount. No sales tax in Oregon as well.

KansaiVet is a good guy. He helped me get my sub from his AD in Portland. Got me 10% and no sales tax. Total saved me over $1000USD.

They won't ship a Rolex, You would have to come up to get it. I'd be happy to pick you up at the airport and run you over there.

Quite right too !

If you are talking about the WG 116509 I think this one is the definitive design.

Breathtaking but pricey. If you can stretch to one, get it. Don't compromise.

Personally, I'd rather spend an extra $2,000 or so and get a brand new one. It's not that much money for peace of mind.
