Bergeon 7825
After reading many positive reviews about the 7825 from you guys, I decided to purchase one. However, I am not sure if I received a fake one or not bc the packaging seems off. The B on the envelope flap looks smaller than pictures online. And the protector sleeves are clear instead of black. There are also stains on the tool which is odd bc it is supposed to be brand new. Any advice? Thanks

Bergeon 7825
I actually ordered one directly from them & received it today. Mine looks similar with a little discoloration inside the tool at the same spot. But I think both of ours is fine. Mine has the clear covers as well. I used it to change out straps on my new WG Daytona. It worked great. If new at this, I advise to go very slow and use masking tape on the outside of lugs. It’s extremely easy to scratch during the process.

Not uncommon most their tools look like that.

Looks just like mine, so no worries. I went to an official retailer and a few of theirs had discoloration. I am guessing it's from the metal oxidizing?
I do find the tips on these do not work as well as my 6767F. The tips on 6767F are more well defined to fit Rolex/Tudor spring bars, so 7825 was kind of waste of money for me. |

The tips are actually a bit different. I have both and I actually like using my 6767F more. 6767Fs tips fit better into the grooves of the spring bars, but maybe I just need more practice with 7825. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The 7825 works great so does the 6767F it just takes practice. I still use the blue painter's tape as a safeguard. Good luck

It is a tool and should be fine, as long as it works as intended.

My 7825 looks like that but seems like waste of money. Easy to get bracelet off but putting back on is a different story.
Maybe I need more practice. |

It looks OK compared with mine. Seldom used but extremely useful when needed.

It’s a tool, not jewelry.
