Totally agree. Not my style for so many reasons, timewise, monetarily, or for the hobby, to buy a watch, in this particular instance, for say 17.3, get a box and tape. package it up, drive it to FedEx, flip it to a reseller for 18.2, so they can sell it for 19.3. All to preserve a relationship to get a watch that I can buy, when I really want it, all day long BNIB for a few grand over MSRP. The game never made any sense to me.

Hopefully it will now go to someone who actually wants a Root Beer GMT and not a ‘Rolex Investor’ who loses interest as soon as there is no longer profit in it. My favourite Rolex GMT by far, I hope my AD gets me one sooner rather than later……

I never warmed up to the Rootbeer, so I would have declined too. I only asked for the Pepsi. Interesting nonetheless to see an AD offer an unsolicited TT GMT., considering this was a hot watch not long ago.

That was exactly my reaction, Vic.

Not easier than my 16700, which I plucked out the case in 1994 among numerous others right beside it for a 10% discount!

I’m not a fan of two tone but the chnr is well executed imo.

of course turn down the watches that you don't want. I've done it few times myself. nothing wrong with that.

just buy other things so to keep you high up on the "preferred customers list" :D

You likely won’t get offered another watch again.
I support this approach, this is how I got myself into buying 2 tone DJ41 which gets no wrist time at all. Too lazy to flip it so sitting in its box.

Brother just call DavisSW or Takuya or any of the trusted sellers, they’ll send you a prepaid label, and you’ll have a wire the next day.

I’m not sure if it’s so easy to ship from Canada (customs etc)

Looking to trade up for Panda to some local dealer

How much rootbeer are we talking about? OP never gave a ref #
Wouldn't pass up either if building a GMT collection.
