NEW galactic 44mm
Breitling just anounced a new Galactic size. 44mm...It's also in the made to measure section with a white, black and blue dail options. Of course you have the choice of thier full range of straps too.

I was looking at this earlier this AM. I love it; just wish it was 42 or 43mm. I'll have to try it on but 44 may be OK for me if it's thin enough. I was a big fan of the Headwind (day/date) and the Cockpit/Galactic line. So glad they didn't use the standard Galactic bezel and went with the older style.

Wow..I love it! It seems with their Avenger II line & the new Colt line that they are going back to their old style bezel but with a slight update. This seems like a positive step in the right direction. :-)
Noonan...go try it on. I had a 42mm SuperOcean Heritage on & surprisingly didnt feel all that big. I also tried on the 43mm Avenger II GMT & found it just a little too large. You might be able to pull this off. ;-) |

Do we know if this is using a standard movement or an in-house variant? That'll effect the cost for sure.

Its an ETA movement 2834-2 (caliber Breitling 45) same as in the Transocean day-date model.

Nice; thanks. That should keep the cost down a bit compared to models with the in-house. Gonna be hard to resist selling a few to pick up one of these.

I like it, but don't care for the rubber inserts in the bezel. I don't mind a rubber strap option...but not the bezel

What's the price?
Nevermind, found it on their site. Have they lost their mind?!

i love the look. used the love the old headwind too.
curious about pricing, especially based on comments above. i will go check. was thinking with an ETA movement it should be cheap....relatively speaking. but maybe i will be surprised....

The old style bezel that comes with this watch is so much better than the bezel Breathing introduced a few years back...........this watch scream Brietling. There is a version of this as a chronograph as well........I think its in the Airborne line. Both beauties!!!!
