A special piece......
I have admired the A. Lange & Söhne Lange Zeitwerk Luminous "Phantom" Platinum since it was announced.
It is even more amazing in real life. Enjoy the pics I took earlier today. |

He should........Then we'll get another incoming soon after!! Just comparing yours to Ken's ZW....Both wonderful, but I love how yours has the slightly transparent dial, where you can actually see the number wheels behind...A novel idea!! Enjoy the weekend mate!

ps... the idea behind this innovative dial is like reverse sunglasses .... allows UV light IN to charge the superluminova numerals and blocks visible light OUT so you don't see too much of the hidden time wheel behind the dial. This allows the time in the display to glow in the dark!! Very cool!

Absolutely amazing Pav!! I agree on the quality of Lange vs. the big three--it is right at the top. I personally think Lange and Patek are tops for me and Lange even surpasses Patek in terms of innovation and finish. No disrespect to AP or the others but Lange just is a master of innovative complications and finishing detail!! The ZW and DS are 2 of the most amazing movements and took years to develop--their R&D is 2nd to none! Enjoy that bad boy Pav and so wish I was headed to Germany with you!!

A Lange is very beautiful, but does it hold it value as good as patek or rolex ?

You couldn't get one of these rare ZW's for full retail even if you wanted to. They are impossible to get. This watch will not only hold its value it will be worth far more over time. Pav is one of the few lucky ones to own one as only 100 were made worldwide and 200 of the platinum ones like I own and am wearing right now.
