Let's see your BEST pen photos! :0)

I am going to spend some time later today taking some new photos and hopefully they will turn out as I would like them to especially in composition.

Here is one of mine for now.

Omas Arco Paragon. I absolutely love this pen.

Nice shot Richard, unwrap that cloth!

I will contribute some shots as soon as I get some fine writing instruments

Looking forward to seeing more shots of your collection!

Actually when you purchase an Omas, you get to join the Omas Society and they then send you gifts which one of them is a brand new Omas polishing cloth! A touch of genuine class! Not even Rolex does that! Humph!

My pieces!!! Just missing the Caran mechanical pencil matching with the pen that's on the picture. It was so dirty that I left it out. LOL

I think this is my best pen shot so far.
The nib shot of my Montblanc 1996 Writers' Series - Alexander Dumas pen, with Montblanc Royal Blue ink.

Also, pretty happy about how this one came about - a nib shot of my Montblanc Unicef 146. This was taken hand held with flash.

Ok! Now that is a GREAT nib shot. What camera did you use for this. I can't get my macro setting that tight.

Thanks
Those nib shots were taken using a Nikon D90 with Nikon's 105mm F/2.8 micro lens. I use this lens for 99% of the macro shots I take. Superb lens once you find it's sweet spot.

Too.... Many.... Nice..... Pens..... Can't..... Handle......

Mark, you have an excellent line-up. Those Montblancs are just incredible. The citrine rollerball and the Nikolai, simply amazing. The one to the far right, does it have a diamond on the cap? What model is it?

Thanks Carl! Yes, it does, and it's rose gold/sterling silver, with a MOP star. It's the 75th anniversary Meisterstuck.

Great photo Chris, that OBBB looks like it's had some special work done on it to crisp up the edges. I bet it writes with a nice italic variation to the line width.

Not as far as I am aware it hasn't. I bought it from Norbert Otto in Germany - www.penboard.de.......... just before I bought the early OBB from Tom Westerich - what a difference with a late 50s nib!
How do I downsize the photo? I can't find my way around very well yet - but it isn't this size in my files.

Good site Cu!

I wouldn't worry about downsizing your photos. They look perfect to me. The bigger the better!
