This band looks horrible

Is the band just THAT stretched out? Or is this a fake.

My first SS/YG Datejust, purchased new in 1976 when I was a sophomore in college, had this type of bracelet. It was phased out soon after witht the flat type of links that we see now. Since this watch is "vintage" (I hate to think of anything I bought new as "vintage"!) and no doubt worn for many years, that there is so much stretch is understandable...not pretty, but understandable!

If memory serves, this bracelet seems OK; let's see what the more knowledgable folks think!
