Dark Side - Apollo 8

My AD told me this piece just came in and hard to get. Is this true?

I'm familiar with Rolex but not familiar with Omega. However I do have a 2008 Speedmaster though

Nope. Was hard to get, less so now (at least in the uk). I have one though and it’s a great watch. Very different and for me that’s the charm of it. It wears small and thin due to having the manual movement in the dsotm case. It’s quite a unique speedy and has surprisingly turned into my fave watch.

If you like it get it. If you don’t, it’s not a snoopy so pass.

Agreed, I don't think it's particularly rare.
But I have been interested in it myself. It's on my short list, that keeps growing longer!

Honestly, I'm not sure where it fits in my rotation, which is why it never seems to rise to the top. It's very casual to my eye and at close to five figures, that limits it's place.

Not rare at all. Was offered one out of the blue by an AD in a different state, never expressed interest. Not sure on popularity so not sure about possibility of a discount. From an OB, no way. AD maybe ?

My guess is not too popular. I was offered one that was in the case in Dallas back in July, that is a pretty big sign of its popularity to me. Cool enough watch but I am afraid I would tire of it quickly.

There aren’t that many around but certainly more that before. I thought the same as you but it seems to be magnetised to my wrist leaving a 16710 and CK2998 getting no time at all. It’s great and unlike anything else I’ve ever worn!

Certainly not tiring of it here....

A boutique offered it up to me. Beautiful watch but not rare.

I don't know how rare it is but I do know how beautiful.
