Incoming!

First Panerai! I went with the “small” 38mm despite reading all the hate towards Panerai making smaller models and the 38mm being a “women” watch.
I’m a 6”2 guy but I dislike overwhelming watches. I feel this one represents Panerai in a subtle way. It also feels light and comfortable on the wrist. When I wear a watch I like to forget that it’s there and not having to struggle with its size and weight all day. So again, I’m glad Panerai makes these smaller versions because I would’ve never owned a Panerai otherwise.

Nice! Congrats! How do you like the bracelet? I am thinking about getting a bracelet for my 42mm Submersible PAM 959.

It’s a comfortable bracelet. Not Rolex quality but it’s much better than the Omega ones I’ve seen.

I think it looks great on your wrist! Much better imo than the traditional oversized Pam look.

First, welcome to TRF!!

Next, there’s many of us “Rolex’ers” who love Panerai, too!

That’s a beautiful piece you bought. And frankly, I think that how a watch “wears” is much more related to its bezel structure, and the case thickness, than strictly the case diameter as reported.
Like you, I tend to shy away from large watches, yet I love my 42 mm PAM 1074, as it certainly does not “feel” too large!

Enjoy, my friend!! Looking forward to more posts from you. “cheers:

OOOPS!!!
I sent a picture of my PAM 1209, the Azzurro Submersible.
(The 1074 is the one that I want, but not yet an official "incoming"!! Sorry!).

Looks good, but I personally don’t care much for the bracelet, buy what you like though
