Any of these old actors left are probably just happy to be able to cash in on their fame while they're still alive. The fact that Clint Eastwood is a household name bridging 3 generations at this point is incredible. Likely made a pittance back in the day compared to now too

He kind of did stop acting but has continued to direct and produce some great movies since 2008. Jersey Boys, American Sniper, Sully, and Richard Jewel among them. He's even written and performed some of the soundtrack music in some of his movies. Pretty amazing career.
