Jucuzzi
Hello,
In the market to replace a 23 year old hot tub. Appreciate recommendations on brands. |

We have a Jacuzzi Brand tub in our master. Whatever the reason, presumably exposure to sunlight, the jet nozzles and control knobs are made of a plastic that has a tendency to turn yellow. Aside from that, it works well...it even heats the water as it circulates.

I have owned two Sundance spas over the years and found the quality has gone downhill after a production move to Mexico. Components are still top notch but overall construction went downhill.
I recently purchased a Bullfrog Spa and it is worlds better. Plus, you buy jet packs that let you customize the tubs performance to your needs. Whatever you do, never buy a tub without doing an actual wet test. You may fi d that some brands depth or seat angles do not work for your body. This is what steered me away from Jacuzzi, which is actually a very good brand.

I’m guessing you mean outdoor. I had Hot Springs for 20 years. 2 different ones. Seemed great but as has been said, many have moved production to other areas and have issues.

I had a Hotsprings “Classic” for over 20 years. Several leaks could not be repaired and based on what I read, Hotsprings is not what it urged to be.
I’m considering Jucuzzi brand hot tube but it’s made in Mexico. |

Bullfrog. We just replaced ours and couldn’t be happier. Can customize it more than any others.

We had a Caldera, fantastic hot tub. The dealer matters just as much as the brand you choose.

The hard thing about hot tubs is finding a company that will be around in 5 years when they start going south and having problems.

Those are dangerous. Keep the old one.
New ones are super babymakers and all the swingers staying until 4am. You’ll start dressing like Heff and smoking a pipe too. |
