London Watch Show
Went today (Sat 18th). Here's my thoughts:
PROS • Great turn out - lots of people attended • Nico Leonard, Roman Sharf, Paul Thorpe, Watch Eric, Bark & Jack were all there and accessible; friendly, happy to talk to anyone and everyone • Positive atmosphere • Nearly every Rolex model you could want • Good number of dealers • Some great finds for every budget CONS • Great turn out - made it difficult to get to display cabinets and see pieces • About 90% Rolex - seeing the same watches over and over again got... tiresome • Weird booths - construction companies, apps, driveway paving... • A DJ playing dance music by the bar. Not sure why? Wasn't too bad on the floor though... All said - I'm glad I went. Took my dad. Saw some great pieces in person, had a good chat with Watch Eric. We left, headed to Bond Street and hit up a few stores and also the Burlington Arcade which has one of the most jaw-dropping vintage Rolex collections (for sale). A really nice day out. |

I also attended, must admit I didn't stay for too long with it being so busy, as yoi said even getting to some of the display cabinets was a feat, couple of times my wife got almost pushed out of the way by people with no social etiquette.
We did however have a fantastic day out, the hotel and restaurants we went to were also wonderful. I had forgotten how much I love a trip to London Glass you enjoyed it too, burlington arcade is awesome isn't it! Cheers Sent from my LYA-L09 using Tapatalk

Thanks for update
Down tomorrow for a week for work - would have been nice to have taken in. I see the Burlington arcade shuts at 6pm each night inc a Thur so I’ll probably not get a chance to see either |

Glad you had fun with dad.
Based on the Cons I’d have turned back before parking. |
