YG sub or RG Daytona

Going back and forth between a new 41 YG sub vs some variant of the RG Daytona. I generally prefer RG to YG and it’s flip a coin between the sub and Daytona in general. I do really like the easy adjusting clasp on the sub. What is the general preference between YG and RG and more specifically these two. Thanks.

YG sub or RG Daytona

Of these two, yellow gold sub.

If Daytona had ceramic bezel, I’d say that in rose.

My choice would be rose gold GMT….gives you date and ceramic bezel and the rose gold is little less flashy than yellow.

Id vote sub but I'm not a RG guy. Yet. Thinking about it though.

I would choose the RG Daytona. I’m picking up a YG variant tomorrow, so I may be biased at the moment. In the end, I think both are going to be great additions.

YG Sub for me, but not as a daily, too loud for that, more of a special occasion piece.

I find the Daytona too small for a chrono, barely legible and I don't like RG.

I'd go YG. RG is a meme. Why spend that much to try to be "under the radar" with a gold watch? It's a feminine color too.

I dont really like the Daytona and the full gold bluesy was a grail since I was like 18 years old.

There is not even a doubt for me - it would be the full gold sub all day everyday.

Man I really feel sorry for all the guys on here with Stone Age-notions of masculinity.

RG Daytona all the way.

To myself I would only go rose gold Daytona if it
was the rainbow, meteorite or brown dials. That all gold submariner is a great piece.

It’d be YG in either model for me. RG isn’t my favorite on a full bracelet model.

RG Daytona appears dainty to me due to small size, soft edges, and lack of ceramic. If it had ceramic it would be diff because it makes the watch appear bigger to make up for that 38.5mm case buuuuuuuuut………it doesn’t………so sub for me.

I have owned both and as a day to day watch the Submariner was a better watch for me. The Glide lock is great. A Daytona is a Daytona and is always going to be desirable and sought after. Not a RG fan but depending on how you will wear the watch I could make the case for either. There is no bad choice here, only a choice.
