AP ROO diver as a daily wearer?

Looking for experience. Are these watches rugged enough for day to day use? The only friend that i have that has AP watches never wears them, so no real feedback there. I have always been a fan of the ROO diver and would like to upgrade my sub as my daily wearer. Most extreme thing would be golf.

Thanks TRF!

I rotate mine q3 days. Looks as good as new. I sit at a desk for my job though. I am pretty conscious of my wrist movements I have to admit compared to my Rolex so I don’t whack it, so to speak.

Absolutely yes ! Much more robust than RO especially if you keep it on rubber.

No need to worry about anything except the bezel (same as with any other brands, you might get hairlines after a few years).

If you get a 15707ce, it can stay on your wrist for the rest of your life !

Wear mine daily

I have been wearing mine almost daily for the past two years. It definitely takes a beating. Extremely comfortable on rubber. The only issue may be if you wear a long sleeve shirt because it gets caught up in the sleeve. Otherwise, no issues whatsoever.

Absolutely! I wear mine almost daily and it is a great piece. The size may take a little getting used to but once you are comfortable with the size/weight it really is a great daily

Only caveat I have is that I guess I have big wrists because after I buckle the rubber strap I don’t have enough left over to go in the loop holder for the tongue

been looking at getting a 15400 or 15500 and using it as a daily wear. was going to get a rubber conversion kit for it.

would this be a bad idea? i don't necessarily move carefully and i'm sure to bang it around every so often.

Yes they are absolutely robust enough for a daily wearer.

Mine has been for 3 years now.

You will get a few scratches but that’s part of wearing a watch.

The waterproofing is great as it allows me to not even think about it when at the beach or need to give the watch a good clean. When I can again, I’m looking forward to taking it diving too.

Rubber strap is functional and comfortable.

I would suggest it can be worn for almost any daily activity, but obviously use some common sense as it is a fine mechanical object and not invincible to being smashed about (same as any watch, even a G shock)

I had the same problem with the strap and the AP boutique ordered me their big boy strap.

Sorry I'm baised, but ROO 43MM or bust! It's such an epic watch. I was unmoved by the divers past or present. Also, ceramic bezel FTW.

Thanks TRF!

I wear my Diver and my Royal Oak for most things without worry. The bezel will get scratched up, but that happens regardless over time.

I wouldn’t wear mine playing golf though. A Rolex yes, an AP no. Although i did once wear my Royal Oak playing squash because I’d forgotten to take it off.

It's a dive watch my friend, meant for diving, so I think you would be ok wearing it daily to the office

I wear my ROO 42mm daily but its stainless and would like to trade out for a titanium model in the next year. Just wears alot more comfortably. I would try on both the stainless and titanium. I would have spent the extra coin on titanium in the begining knowing what I know now.

Love this watch I am buying another model but different color. I just notice something, why some models the Swiss made logos are aligned differently then my model and yours? Here are some examples
