Do Panerai rubber bands stretch?
Finally got my Pam1024 today from a seller on chrono24. it is mint and barely if ever worn. Question - it is tight on the tightest hole and a little loose on second hole. does the original black rubber band stretch? thanks!

You may want to consider buying the accordion strap. The accordion allows for flex which is really nice. It's also made out of this material called catatouic which is a dry smooth like rubber material. It's not grippy like rubber and it doesn't get sticky from sweat like rubber does. I owned that strap you have and the accordion is a great alternative.

The standard strap doesn’t, but as the previous poster mentions, the accordion version does.

Sounds like we have the same wrist dimension. I go one bigger on normal strap, but yeah it's a bit loose for sure. As others mentioned, the accordion has more give.

My accordion straps don’t stretch on my 1305 but they did soften up and get more comfortable with wear.

I have a very old (2004?) black Catchouc (I know I spelled that wrong) deployant and a new green one. The old one (purchased used) is bigger.

I think you should change up the size of the strap to a “small size” in the identical strap. I believe the oem stock size is a medium.
