Icon5 Watch hobbyists and stock pickers! I need expert medical advice!

Is it safe to use a de razor to cut off skin tags and then a hot knife to cauterize the wound? I want to avoid all this voodoo medicine I see at my doctor.

Based off my vast medical knowledge of doing similar nonsensical things I would say it’s safe.

I use toenail clippers for skintags. Just remember skin tags then toenails. If you do your toenails first make sure to run the clippers under some water between the toenail clipping and skin tag removal to make sure the clippers are generally free from funk.

My grandfather was a surgeon and I’m the guy that’s given himself stitches on a few occasions, I say go for it!

I never got to meet that grandfather but I hope he’d be proud of my stitching ability.

So u cut it at skin level then why cauterize. Unless u have bleeding issues it should stop, no? I would think the attempt at cautery may cause a burn scar depending on how hot u got that knife.should stop w just some pressure. Would b like a cut shaving

Buy a cooler of dry ice and use that instead. Works better.

tie a strand of hair tightly around the tag... it will come off after a couple of days and be perfectly undetectable.

Voodoo nonsense.

Why I’ve been using home remedies since before the war.

Some moonshine, a blade and a sewing kit is all a man needs.

Do you have liquid nitrogen? That’s essentially what hyphercating is.

Just don’t shower in it Chewy.

Can't make this stuff up, I worked with a guy that hit himself in the forehead with the claw part of a hammer during a hurricane and tried to cauterize it himself with an iron.....like one for clothes! You could actually see the shape of the iron on his head, from the pointy part to the holes for steam. With that said, the OP idea doesn't seem too bad!

Brags Apple Cider Vinegar. Dab with a cotton ball for a few days then it will dry up and fall off.

Please review multiple pictures of necrotizing fasciitis and gangrene( particularly Fournier’s) before approaching your skin in a DIY manner.
If something goes wrong, it really goes wrong.

JMHO, as a practitioner of “ voodoo”

Bah!

Typical college elitist fakery like Rolex stainless steel shortages.
