Basel 2007- Omega Speedmaster Professional coaxial anniversary le

In 2007, omega introduced 18kt yellow and rose gold Speedmaster Professional LE in 57 pieces each to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moonwatch.

These pieces had a new manual movement..the 3201.

It was a manual coaxial movement based off FP reference.0

I can find many press releases and stock photos of these watches but was wondering if anyone actually owned this or has real world pics of these watches?

Tks.

Didn’t we have in 2017, the release of a limited edition celebrating the 60th anniversary?

So, in 2007, omega released an LE of a traditional Speedmaster moonwatch but with the 50th anniversary patch logo at 12 pm.

They also released a special version of the Omega Speedmaster with black enamel dials...1957 pieces in ss and 57 pieces in 18kt yellow gold, rose gold and white gold.

Instead of the 1861, they created a new coaxial manual movement called the 3201...based off a the go automatic movements 3xxx used in their first chronos.

All of this has been reported on fratello and ablogtowatch....but only seen stock or news release photos and never actual pics from Basel 2007.

Hope this clarifies.....apologies for typos...

57 is a small number, so I'm not surprised you haven't seen real world pics. Interesting piece for sure.

2007 was the 50th anniversary of the Speedy. 2017 the 60th. Correct. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. Let's hope for an SS model!
