WG BLRO Blue Face...I'm Confused..!
So everyone said the WG BLRO with the blue dial released at Basel 2018 was discontinued and unavailable to order at AD's after only a few short months in production, making it potentially one of the rarest Rolex's EVER!
Yet on the Rolex website (23rd March 2019) low & behold, a WG blue dialled BLRO clearly still shown, so I can only assume that means still available? Any thoughts/explanations.. Thanks in advance

It’s been brought back with a new movement, I believe.

Yes new movement and new reference number. Previous version was eliminated and nobody new for sure if it would be retired or updated. Most suspected the white gold was gone for good...

Those at Basel said the colour of the dial is slightly different, more of a match to the bezel. But we know the colour of the bezel is now different too, so until we see them side by side it's anyone's guess

I was in the same boat, asked here and two AD’s said I’d missed the boat
Now Baselworld announces the WG SS back with blue dial and new movement. There’s another variation of WG SS BLRO with the ‘meteorite dial’. Yet to see that. So glad the blue dial is available but do I go for it and forgo the SS BLNR & TT CHNR which I’m on the list for + a big cash addition |

Interesting -- all the yellow gold GMTs have disappeared. You can only get white or rose gold as a precious metal now.
So, Rolex officially discontinued every GMT with a single-colour bezel. It's all bicolour bezels from now on, I guess. |

Ok, that makes sense now.
I guess the 2018 version probably was one of the shortest production runs ever....future collectors item?
