tiredness
I was wondering, just to inform myself if anyone of you guys, do experience the same as me:
Always extremely tired.. After years of going to the doctor with crazy amounts of strange symptoms i still have a big problem that cause my life to be very little and that is tiredness to the bone. I sleep about 12 hours a night and i wake up tired, if i sleep less than 12 hours i need to go to bed extremely early and if i am away on a citytrip for example i literally have to go to bed at 19.00 after a day of walking in the city. However i still maintain to do strength exercise 2-3 times a week just 1 hour but when i do this you can guess i am tired And after strength training i am exhausted now this tiredness has such a big impact on my daily activities that i am very very isolated just because i can not train and do anything, literally anything on 1 day and on my not training days which are 4 i am simply to tired to do whatever Now i took blood so many times but never there was a very clear evidence of a actual ilness, i seen quite a few doctors and yes i have had some elevated blood levels but they get back to the baseline after a half year or year repeating tests what basicly says it is a accidental discovery.. Now since a year or so i am literally to tired to go ''more'' to the doctor so i almost never visit a doctor anymore as i feel that it is completely pointless to do is... Is there anyone of you that recognize this tiredness and also gone through a lot of tests which basicly turned out on nothing for exception of extremely weird symptoms my body does show, but without any clear ''idea'' of where the hell it is comming from? It makes me a bit sad as my girlfriend compares a lot nowadays that i am Always to ''tired'' to go away or do something with her.. And when i try i am so tired that it is also not a big fun.. I know it is a serious problem but it seems that no one of the doctors can find a clear ilness…. Now it might be possible that they havent done éverything'' they could as i am from a country where Insurance can say where they search for or not may search for.. And without clear signs of a underlying condition they can't do things like a scan and stuff |

There's a proper diagnosis out there somewhere, so don't give up trying.

Im a firm believer in eating more healthy such as juicing (vegatables only) along with high fat diets and cutting out carbs (which all turn to sugar in the end) and just eating leafy greens will transform you!

no idea but my sister is the same. She has always slept in her free time.
I remember once when my son was born and she came to help out.... she didn't as it was more of a vacation for her. She slept like 15 hours a day seriously. You could say jet lag played a role, but she does that at home too... when she can Ive always thought there was something wrong, but nothing ever is. She did it as a child, did it as an adolescent, does it as an adult.

It is literally frustrating that i harm my girlfriend her ''luck'' with my lack of capacitys to ''enjoy'' things you know.. And the way the hospital works makes me think like...…. amateurs whatever…… And than i try to ''mindblock'' my problems and basicly forget about it and with my energy levels i am to tired to visit a doctor again |

I think you will need to see some more specialists to crack the code.

Don't give up on it - you'll come to a diagnosis at some point.
For myself - if I sleep more than 8h - I feel extremely tired

the best way i can explain it is i get migraines so im use to them so after a while you are conditioned to it. Im sure if someone else got one they couldn't function. when its your normal you adapt. She just deals with it, and most people probably dont notice. doesn't mean there isn't anything wrong though, i still think there is.

I know first hand what you are referring to. Based on my experience a good starting point ,regardless of age, is to take a cardio stress test. |

You know I had something very similar to this when I was young.
I could sleep for 12 + hours and literally feel like I could go back to sleep 5 or 6 hours later. Could I ask how old you are? |

i have a few conditions that are ''undescribed'' so basicly my doctor allready knows in front of my visit that i have something with me every time that he don't know about, he does his duty and send me to the specialist but specialists seems impossible to find anything and every time starts their journey from beginning to end and back. I have seen a lot, a hell lot of specialists in the past few years in quite some hospitals.. Last time the specialist told me, she think we will never find it but indeed to go again to another specialist but than i needed to contact my general practicer at first, and i still havent since it is a few months ago allready Anyway my symptoms are strange maybe im a alien |

Interesting condition - can’t be easy. I am grateful to be the total opposite end when it comes to sleep needs.
People are different though on how much they need, so it’s about finding what’s best for you. Maybe worth seeing a nutritionist or dietician too. Have you looked into any potential allergies, intolerances or environmental factors ?

It's the Rolex Sub. Please gift it to me for testing and I'll report back on my tiredness annually.

I am certainly not a happy person anymore but there are symptoms that can't be caused due depression, they basicly point on a underlying condition more like a auto-immunedisease and they did found some kind of small level of something in my blood once however recently they rechecked and didnt found it anymore. things i have: frequently getting sick like 5-6 times a year constantly tired and unwell Petechia which dissapear in 1 week i have this on various spots and various times, they took 2 biopts but both biopts gave ''different'' results :/ without any specific ''result'' :/ sweating like a animal all day long with a strong odor without liver disease blood in urine, stool which are gone now for long time high levels of vitamin B6/12 in my blood without any supplementation, energy drink etc high level of bone alcalic phosphatase that been back to baseline now carpal tunnel syndrome chronic irritated throat without any gastric reflux, smoking, coughing etc loss of memory frequent muscle fasciculations through my whole body kicking legs in the evening high blood pressure high cholesterol low good cholesterol but this is in family chronic elevated ALT since 2015, most likely this is caused by exercising but the problem is that it was still even larger elevated after 2 weeks of rest. My liver seems completely normal further and they tested for fat liver, hepatites and everything you can imagine in this way thrombosed veins enlarged lymph nodes since 2015 which stay enlarged but equally ''small'' so not growing ones some weird unknown things and something that i rather won't describe on this forum as my next doctor(s) would most likely find this and know who's talking here It is known ''what'' it is but doesn't exist in males |

In particular, your "restless leg syndrome" was also a symptom I had . . .
. .. have you . .. . .. ..ever been evaluated for a sleep disorder? (sleep apnea)

Ultimately she went to a naturopath (I know, I know). She got a comprehensive food allergy test done. This sort of test wasn't even on the radar of her other doctors. Turns out she had a lot of allergies to different foods, from mild to debilitatingly severe. Certain foods were triggering various bodily reactions, contributing to her thyroid condition. Whether it's your thyroid or something else, I do encourage you to get a food allergy test. My wife's diet was triggering all sorts of autoimmune responses (as well as other problems). She was killing herself without even knowing it. |

Ist AMG's recommendation is one of two factors which first come to mind. The second, despite your youth, could could be related to low-levels of testosterone ("T") production. I'm subscribing to your thread and, if it doesn't prove too compromising, hope you'll update as you may find it appropriate.

The wife merely eliminated things that were causing autoimmune reactions, among many other problems. I fail to see how this action is not healthy for her. |
