What else are you into?

I’m don’t consider myself materialistic, but I won’t deny that I must be to some extent more than most. I like “things” (watches for ex). But I feel like it’s for the right reasons. Not to show status say, but because I enjoy the engineering, admire the precision, and how when looking at my watches I can see attention to detail far exceeding that of most any other object I encounter during my day to day.

Beside my watches, I get a lot of joy right now from my new mykita studio clear eye glasses. They are 3D printed. understated, and the precise contours of the lines immediately jumps out as out of the ordinary. I think they are truly an object to marvel at, just some thin piece of metal that looks and feels so high tech.

What “thing” are you interested in at the moment that brings you joy?

Whisky.

Guitars.

I had always hated shopping (with or without Mrs Yoda), but now I enjoy it. Weird. I must really be getting old. Usually I just end up buying shirts. Is that a thing?

Amateur sound engineering (and the gear), but that's way on the backburner for now.

Gold coins.

If you buy and empty coin tube and work away at filling it up it scratches the buying itch but can potentially be a decent investment also.

I’m an ex-pro cyclist. To be clear, I don’t love bikes, I love riding bikes. There is a difference.

No straight razors here (yet) , but I've started using a DE razor a year ago and my life has been turned upside down

Isn't it nice when a daily chore turns into a real nice way to start the day?

I am a huge outdoorsman. I love hiking (specifically with my Golden Retriever), fishing and things we are not allowed to talk about on here.

I am also really into cars, but actually decided to sell my Camaro and invest the money to get into a real big-boy sports car down the road

All of a sudden it becomes a ritual.
Building up the lather and so on.
Best start of the day!

Cars/trucks (owned things ranging from Porsches to Mustangs), horses (been into the rodeo scene a better part of my life), into fitness as I go to the gym 4-5 days a week, things that go bang, and pretty much all things gold. That about sums up everything. That I collect/spend money on lol.
