26331 ROC subdials

Hi have been a long time lurker and learnt a lot from the valuable info from this forum

Recently acquired a blue RG ROC on strap from the boutique and totally in love with it
In fact I like it so much I got another one!
This time a brown dial on bracelet that I bought from a reputable grey dealer
They are both K series 2019
It sounds silly I know but the feel on strap and bracelet makes it feel like 2 different watches. I tried the 15400OR but I still prefer the ROC

My concern began when I started to compare my 2 ROCs side by side and realize there is a difference in the sub dials
They are both registered online with AP and has 5 year warranty intact

Blue dial
- Sub dial rose gold seems more Red / pink
- Much Deeper shine from the sub dial concentric rings
- fonts look slightly darker

Brown dial
- sub dials seems less 'pink'
- less shine from the concentric rings

Just like to get your expert opinion, is this a usual occurrence? Anything to worry about or AP naturally has factory variations?

1 more set of comparison pics!
The brown subdials looks more ‘satin’ finished compared to the deep gloss of the blue

Anyone experienced something similar?

I can see the differences. Maybe take it to an AD and see other examples?

Yeah I see it. The one with the blue strap has darker chrono rings.

Could be part of the design?

I hope so! The AD said it looked fine, then again they don't have any brown ROC at the moment to compare with.

I wonder if it’s by design so the subdials on the brown dial blends in better or compliments each other and the subdials on the blue dial are meant to offer more contrast. They both look incredible and are on my wish list.

Awesome combo!! Thinking of swapping my 15400or for the chrono! Look at some pictures on instagram, see if u can spot the same differences.

Thanks for the replies

After looking through a lot of ROCs on Instagram and sellers pictures I realized it’s a common occurrence. I have seen a couple of brown dial ROC with highly polished subdials as well similar to the blue. I did my best to take lighting into consideration

There is definitely some form of subdial variation.
Perhaps it depends on the year ? Few of the 2019 brown ROCs seem to have this more satin finished subdial.

I’m Not sure 100% sure of this, even my AD can’t confirm it but I hope this is good for potential buyers to know. At least you can keep an eye out to get the one you like the most !

Recommend that Amiroo ! I was contemplating a 15400or( black) in addition to my 26331or but ended up with another one instead in brown.

Love the subdials in gold really makes it pop

Thanks for the post. Which one do you prefer if you have to pick one of the two dials slight variations?

The highly polished variant is so eye catching and beautiful, whereas the more ‘satin’ finished variant is more subdued kind of shine and that makes it more legible as well
It’s a tough choice but had I known this earlier, I would prefer the highly polished version

I think you would love either version, I didn’t notice the difference until I compared them side by side

One more pic of my brown dial

OP through out my years of experiences with AP, they dont have the best quality control. That aside I dont believe this is a quality control issue, but rather a consistency issue when it comes to the production fo the dials, making all the finishings the same to the max of their abilities. I would not worry about it personally, but if your bothered by it try to get AP ahmad sadiqi, to change the dial. After all you have spent close to a 100K USD with them. I am based in Dubai as well, maybe I can help you out if you PM me, was it Dubai mall or MOE?
