Breguet Type XX Aeronavale 3800

Hello,

I just bought this Aeronavale and I am loving it. I'm just contemplating whether or not I get a steel bracelet for it. I love the away it looks on leather and I love it on a bracelet but I'm not sure it's worth the $1000+!

What do you guys think?

I love the Aéronavale. It's a great addition to any collection!

I'd look forward to a full review on the piece, if you ever get around to it..

First of all, congratulations on that beautiful timepiece, I love Breguet watches.

Regarding the bracelet, I cannot say if it's worth it or not. Obviously 1 000$ for a steel bracelet is very expensive but if you want your watch to have one I'd say go for it.

What is the WR of this watch? If you want to swim with it, you need the bracelet. Beautiful watch.

$1,000 for a new bracelet sounds like a bargain. I've got a 3820 and usually wear it on a nice strap, but the bracelet is worth having. It's a well made bracelet with perfectly fitting end pieces and suits the Type XX nicely. The bracelets for the 3800 or 3820 are both fairly dressy looking for a sporty watch.

Love those old pilot watches from Breguet. Keep it on leather, that is what they originally came on. Perhaps even try an vintage type leather strap.

Thank you all for the feedback. Good point on the swimming, I might actually swim with it.

Bracelet is $1200, used I think.

Get the bracelet. U can easily get the leather strap later but not otherwise.
