Fidel Castro & Rolex

Fidel Castro passed away last night and as most of you know, he was a rolex user, I dont dare to say lover. Thought of sharing some photos of him over the years with his multiple rolex.

This is not a political thread.

Wonder how much they'd go for at auction.

The fact that he wore two at once on the same wrist is telling.

Impossible for this not to turn political, so I'll just say that time must pass painfully slow where he is now and ...... IBTL

It would be exciting to see if they go to auction or eBay.

Without sounding too brash, it took long enough... Cuban's throughout the world are celebrating

I know Miami's Little Havana just enjoyed two Thanksgivings

With that said, IBTL

+1

Those Rolex's have seen some history, good or bad, being on the wrist of one the most influential men of the XX century ;)

I suppose he wore two watches because he was scared to leave one behind in case it might be stolen?
People with light fingers are not unknown in Cuba!
I can recall being in Havana a few years ago and out of our party of 10 people on a day trip, three were robbed!
This is not political of course!

IBTL. This will go south.

Why? Why make a fuzz about this?

A little odd for someone who eschews capitalism.
