Thoughts on watches as investments...
Good morning, everyone...yes, a controversial topic around here these past few days. I'd like to see if we could further the discussion beyond preaching and flame-throwing...I'm of the mind that we can. Here's an investor with an interesting perspective and an obvious passion for our hobby. For those who haven't seen it, give it a chance...

Thoughts on watches as investments...
Anything has investment potential if you know how to sell it
I just think that when a watch is perceived as an investment, the ability of the owner to wear it freely is diminished, which defeats the purpose of owning a wrist watch. However if someone enjoys the financial value aspect of it and prefers to appreciate the watch behind a glass case, then I suppose the whole wear it and enjoy it doesn’t apply anymore. |
