Last year Tudor seemed keen to attempt to have near immediate availability

Not feeling that vibe quite so much this year. But let’s see.

Tried both steel and rubber bracelets

Full disclosure....never owned a tudor before....mainly Rolex....however just arrived in Geneva on vacation and will be visiting W&W...

While strolling through Geneva tonight went past a Tudor store and they had the new models to try on....so I gave the Coke a try....lovey watch but for me personally like a slightly bigger watch but nevertheless looked stunning and as somebody who has never tried a Tudor thought it gave a very premium feel in materials and look....actually preferred the rubber strap as it felt very comfortable

Salesman mentioned he expects to have first stock for sale in the next week maybe two...mentioned the delay was due to the new METAS certification which for some reason I can't remember may delay the launch slightly....

Cost of watch here 4300 Swiss francs for metal 4100 for rubber...hope this helps

Side note...scored both swatch omega snoopy watches on the same stroll...kids will be
happy

Yes it is. I'm thinking the 5 link bracelet and add the rubber strap. It may just kick my black FXD out of bed

Anyone else think the new BB58 GMT looks very much like the Tudor “root beer” 41GMT in certain lighting ? Sometimes I look at pics and except for the bracelet , it’s hard to tell.

People see the luminous areas more yellow because the surrounding gold influence. Even if luminous white will see yellow effect. This is known visual perception effect but depends on size of area inside and outside.

Agreed, and will put it side-by-side with the Rootbeer as well. Should be a fun photoshoot

Converted

After trying the "coke" yesterday went back today to find something that size wise I would prefer and landed on the new 41mm black dial....really happy with this purchase, feels perfect on par with my 41mm Kermit....came with a few nice trinkets as well including a pouch and a bracelet....oh and I saved almost 20% on cost versus my home country

I put a deposit down for the first one at boutique that I have a very good relationship (Rolex and Tudor only).

I’ve been told May/June.
