Tiger woods caddy

I'm certainly no expert like some you eagle eyes on here, but it looked like Tigers caddy had on a Daytona today.

Thought about starting this same thread. Pretty sure he was wearing Tiger’s Deepsea, no?

Rather big difference between a DeepSea and a Daytona

It looked like Bryson DeChambeau was wearing a Daytona in his post round interview

Wouldn't surprise me, the going rate is 10% of their winnings.

Tiger woods caddy

I noticed Phil wasn't wearing a Rolex.

It was something on a dark tan leather strap and very thin. But never got a good look.

Anyone notice that either?

I think Phil typically wears a Cellini Danaos on the course. Can’t tell for sure, but that may be one.

A Daytona on Tigers caddy should come as no surprise after all he’s carrying the clubs for one of the best sportsmen that ever lived. It would be like the average man wearing a Casio

Woods caddie now is Lance Bennett.

If he gave a Rolex to a caddie, maybe it was Woods' previous longtime caddie Joe LaCava before parting ways last year?

Tiger gifted Joe Lacava a Rolex after he won the 2019 Masters. Lance Bennet is on the bag for him this week. Didn't notice what he was wearing.

These top caddies have the best job in the world.

I wouldnt be shocked if Rolex gave the caddy the watch on the condition he wears it while caddying. Having a Rolex on wrist of Tiger's caddy during the Masters is pretty cheap advertising.

Obscene in this case describes it to be huge or enormous amounts of money so a positive! Tigers previous caddy, Steve was quoted as saying he made at least 8 million working for Tiger.

The caddy gets 10% of the winners purse, so when Tiger was winning a lot, his regular caddy, LaCava, made a whole lot of money, and Tiger did give him a Rolex, after winning Augusta in 2019. Tiger was a paid Rolex endorser. He has a different Caddy now.

10% is the going rate for a win (first place finish). The percentage is less for runner-up finishes and below. Some caddies have slightly different contracts, especially at the very top and very bottom.

Obviously, in his prime Tiger could have found thousands who would have carried his bag around for free if there wasn't a whole lot more expected from a top level caddie.

I'm with you. A bunch of A.O.E. (authority on everything) on here when it comes to this subject. Caddie not caddy as spelled in someone's post.

Isn't Tiger still a Rolex endorser? I believe he also loves the brand and wears a sea-dweller due to his interest in the Navy Seals.
