From 2-watch to 3-watch.....Confusing & Exciting at the same time!!

Hi guys,

Been a 2-watch guy all my life. Either a Rollie and a Longines, a Rollie and an Omega, a Rollie and a Tag, even a Rollie and a Breitling and so on.

Then it boiled down to strictly two Rollies....and now it's THREE Rollies....very exciting....and very confusing!!

It's the weekend here and I've got my darling BLUESY on....but now I suddenly miss my GREENIE who is nicely tucked away in his pouch along with Expy.

It's a nice feeling and a great sensation in a weird sorta way!!!

Are you considering a winder, JJ?

Must be nice to have such versatile watches!

Have a nice weekend, my friend!

Thanks, Bo - never been a great fan of winders. If I don't wear one of them for too long (which is not very often), I merely give it a few of my special "Brandy Swirls" and all is well. I do the setting when I'm actually about to wear it....otherwise, just keep it going from time to time with those exclusive "swirls"!!!

JJ... could you describe the swirl for us??

Sometimes MrsJedi leaves her Expy for a day and I've been known to give it a cocktail shake, but I would really like to try your swirl...

I get confused when having to decide between SubDate or Pepsi or my own Expy, so a swirl may be just the think I need...

Please JJ, share man, you gotta, please

Well, I only have one Rolex at the moment, but even if I had three or more, I would also not use a winder.

Your "Brandy Swirl" trick works very well, btw.!

JJ,
I've found the Rolex you are wearing makes you appreciate the other Rolexes you have.

It's like having kids - you quickly realize that you have enough love to go around. Please don't be confused, JJ. Your watches will pick up on this and possibly become insecure. They'll be happy to know they are loved equally.

The "Brandy Swirl"? Easy.....imagine yourself with a glass of fine after dinner brandy and a cigar in one hand. Then picture yourself swirlling the brandy holding the large cup-shaped glass by the base.

Well, that's exactly what you do with your Rolex. Swirl it in a plane parallel to the floor so you start the rotor in motion and hence the watch.

Cheers - JJ

I have had three for a couple of months now. You'll adjust. Have faith in yourself! I'm hoping to go for four next year! I want a red Sub, but I highly doubt I'll find one I can afford so I'll probably settle for a SS Sub Date or a Seadweller.

All you really need is one more!
