Sub Bezel Exchange

Is it easy to exchange the bezel on a Sub or is this something I should have done by the professionals?

Best regards,

J.

Excellent, thank you both for your help. Just what I was looking for.

If I may, I do have another question. I purchased an after market bezel for my Sub in order to keep the original in good shape. I fly on the weekends and I tend to scratch bezels like it's my job. The bezel I purchased is a Submariner style but it's in Pepsi colors...not a GMT. Do you think it would be silly to use this Pepsi Sub bezel or do you think I run the risk of looking like I have a fake...or should I just not even care in the first place?

I like the Pepsi colors...So am I a Rolex owner's worst nightmare?

Best regards,

Joe

I'll take that as a big NO, haha. This might be an excuse to get a GMT for my flying...

Best regards,

Joe

Joe,
It's your watch...you can do what you want..

But I have to ask.....a bezel costs the same, aftermarket or genuine....why not just wear your watch as it is and then when the bezel has had enough, take it to any AD and have it changed out...

The cost is going to be about the same in the long run........

I see your point. I'll just swap out the genuine bezel for a matching after market piece so I'm not so paranoid. Aircraft sheet metal can be very unforgiving to watches.

Best regards,

J.

Hey Tools, I think we posted at the same time.

I guess you're right...in the long run I'll be spending money no matter what. Such is life. Maybe I should just wear it and fix if it comes to that.

Best regards,

J.
