Summer Blue Diver 300M

Picked up this beauty just before Christmas.
It’s really a very cool shade of blue, and I wanted one in my Omega collection, especially it being the 75th Anniversary piece.
And I’m one of those weirdos who actually digs the bracelet lol

Congratulations on the Summer Blue Seamaster! This blue creates enthusiasm . I wear the black Seamaster and think the bracelet is great too. Like the entire watch, it is very strong and substantial.

Omega's bracelet has always been well made. They switched to milled parts when Rolex was still using stamping. While I agree that an update to the Seamaster bracelet is overdue, you could indeed also argue that the Seamaster bracelet has a more tool-ish feeling and seems tougher than Rolex's dainty and elegant bracelets, which are more jewelry than tool.

Agreed. I’m not sure exactly what update they’d do to it, I believe it was updated when they changed the 300M to 42mm etc.
Unless you meant change the style completely?

A lot of people are asking for tapered bracelets, like the new bracelets for the Speedmaster.

Super cool. I like the bracelet as well. I wouldn’t say it is higher quality than the Rolex Oyster, especially since the Rolex has the Oysterlock clasp. Love the Omega bracelet and clasp, but the Rolex is no slouch. I have heard of cases of the double push deployant of the Omega failing, although mine never did when I wore my Diver 300 on the bracelet.

Anyways, congrats on an awesome watch! It looks great.

That’s a good eye there! Yes, it’s a special Jeep and every time I start her up, makes me smile!

It definitely is! I’m playing with a stacked deck though I help sell them for a living so I get to see them quite a bit (Finance Manager at a Chrysler Jeep dealership).

Would love to own one someday! (The watch and the Jeep lol)

My son in law, always wears his Breitling Navitimer as hes an Airbus Pilot here in the UK.
He's just bought that Summer Blue 300M, its a stunning watch and he likes the bracelet too. I prefer the 300 tapered bracelet myself.

That’s a beautiful piece. But I’m biased because I just bought one myself about 5 weeks ago.

Just curious, did you get it from the OB boutique at SCP? …That’s where I got mine.

Beauty. I also love the Seamaster bracelets, always have since the early ‘90’s models. Never understood the hate.

I have this one too and really enjoy it. Makes me not want a Tudor diver, that’s for sure. The dial is A+. You have to pick up rubber in addition for a change up. Enjoy it!
