Has anyone with a Tudor Hydronaut 89190 (full size, first generation model) tried fitting one of the new curved end rubber straps (from companies like Rubber B, Crafter Blue) meant for modern Rolex/Tudor sports watches? If so, how do they fit in the lugs?

I've seen a few pictures online of 89190 Hydronauts with what appear to be curved end straps but I can't seem to find a source for them.
