Considering this GMT

Hi guys,

I'm considering picking up this piece. What do you guys think about it? Service history has not been provided, but looks like some polishing has taken place. Also, the bezel insert looks original but irregularly faded. Bracelet looks like to be in decent condition, but with some stretch. I can always provide pictures.

Thank you for looking!

Yes, depends on price. I like a faded bezel, but that one is odd, the cost of an original red back bezel is so expensive now, it would have to be a great deal.

Red backs are for a 1675.

Inserts for this are plentiful and reasonably inexpensive if you wish to replace. Yes it’s been polished but so have most examples, there’s too much fuss around ‘unpolished’ examples imo. If it’s done well it’s not an issue, I’d be more concerned about the bracelet stretch on this watch, which isn’t a big issue, it can be fixed for a few hundred, just factor the cost into your offer.

Yet again great advice
