First Speedy incoming!

My first Speedy (first professional, I have an automatic from 1996 when I was young and clueless) arrived in the mail today - still needs to be sized and de-stickered.

As Rolex doesn't want to sell me any watches, and filling my watch box with APs would lead to bankruptcy/divorce or both, I decided it was time to turn to the classics. So far, so good! Thinking about adding a cal. 321, which I got to try at an OB a few months ago.

Congrats and looks great. I feel your pain regarding Rolex and plan to do the same. Speedy is next on my list but my problem is just which one. I love the Alaska Project, or do you go original but then if you go original do you go sapphire or Hesalite. All that has kept me from pulling the trigger.

Sweet watch. This is the Tokyo 2020 model correct? Really like this one.

Nice things is that for the grey market price of a single Daytona one can start a whole Speedmaster collection.

Yes, one of five "limited edition" models - I think this one is definitely not sold out yet, and is somewhat unique among Speedys.
