I apologize - I couldn't resist.

I just thought that such a gorgeous watch would have been mentioned at least once in the Panerai forum. That being said, this *is* a Rolex site.

So my girlfriend said she was considering buying me a watch for Christmas, but her budget has a cap of 10 grand. Where can I get my hands on one of these [FER00034] for under 10K?

This one is accepting offers.

I don't know them or can't vouch for them but the feedback seems good.

Hey gang.
This may set the record for the longest thread resurrection in history.
I'm *still* looking for one of these watches! (FER00034)
This watch looks almost exactly like it except the bezel is black and not silver. It also looks like it is rotated a little off axis. I don't know if this is a phenomenon of the photography, or if it was just installed that way. For all I know this watch could be a complete fake. I'm looking to the PAM Gurus to help me please.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/203120730268

Thank you thank you.

Wow!
I'm overwhelmed by the outpouring of expert advice from all the PAM gurus! (LOL not).

It's a fake. It may be a PAM, but it's definitely not a 34.
According to the Panerai service center in Texas, all 50 model 34's were produced in 2010. Therefore, the serial number after the case number must begin with an "FD". This watch begins with an "FA", indicating a 2007 model year. Someone evidently slapped a model 34 (or a model 34 knockoff) dial on an older watch. This would also explain the black chrono ring.
