AP in/near Kyoto/Osaka?

I’m in Kyoto, Japan for a few days and was hoping to visit a couple watch stores. The only AP store around here appears to be in Osaka, 1.5 hours away. Does anyone know what kind of stock they have? Would hate to take the time to go there just to find their inventory is like that of Rolex..

Thanks,
~Pat

I was there last year and i was able to see display stock that wasn’t for sale. It was a beautiful boutique but the Ginza boutique was a lot more friendly.

Interesting. I was at the Ginza boutique in January and they stiff-armed any discussion regarding availability. It may have been obvious that I was just killing time in-between flights, but that was one of the less hospitable experiences I had in an AP boutique.

In the LA AP boutique, they told me that I could not take a picture of a Royal Oak. Not friendly.

Let me know how it goes! Will be in Japan next month and am curious about the boutiques.

In any case, enjoy Kyoto - beautiful foliage this time of year.

I assume if I had tried my Japanese on them they would have called police right away.
