I own a 90's 14060 tritium sub, a MKII (2016) EXP and a BB58. When I place all three on the table and moved back across the room 10ft or more, the Tudor snowflake hands are always legible, whilst the mercedes sword hands are not.
IMHO the above mentioned Rolex model hands are not thick enough for tool/sports watches. I do have good 20/20 vision too. I'm a firefighter and actually use my watches as proper tool watches.

I really like the Tudor snowflake hands for that reason, I was contemplating swapping my EXP MKII for a BB36, but purely from a servicing cost point of view, both the EXP and BB36 are good very watches. I can always use the left over £3K from the MKII to pay a small lump off the mortgage.

Love the Snowflake hands on my Tudor BB GMT. Tudor making the hands more legible for the French Navy makes me appreciate them even more!

I think the snowflake hands is supposedly good when diving. Along with the strong lume, the hands are visible and legible underwater.

Outside of water, admittedly it kinda looks oversized.

As already mentioned here earlier, Tudor Snowflake hands were designed in the late 1960s for underwater legibility. The Mercedes hands used on Rolex Submariners were first used on dressier Rolex Oysters in the 1930s, and were not originally intended for tool watches. That's why Rolex Milsubs have Sword hands.

I don't like them but this proved not to be a deal breaker when I bought my Pelagos.

I like them on the Pelagos because of the square hour markers, the BB's with round markers don't work as well IMO

I wish this was a production model, to me its perfect (only with actual endlinks)

Snowflake hands are fun and quirky however they have to be used thoughtfully such as with matching snowflake/block plots and not unharmoniously with round plots.

In an evident oversight by Tudor in capitalising on the distinctiveness of the snowflake design they rendered the subdials of the 79363 series chronographs somewhat unusable in moments where the snowflake hour hand hovers over either of the two subdials blocking instant visibility.

If you own one you will appreciated the snowflake hands. They are way easier to read at a glance than Rolex hands. Love mine.
