Tudor Submariner 7928 no "stainless steel"

Hi everyone,

I saw this Tudor 7928 on the fleabay and noticed that there is no "stainless steel" stamp between lugs, where the serial number is. It doesn't look like an end link scratched out the ss stamp. Is this a genuine watch? I've never seen a 7928 without the ss stamp before.
