Tudor Sub 7016 caught

I caught this one owner Tudor Submariner 7016 that is in original condition sans the bracelet which the owner misplaced and is currently looking for it at the moment. It also appears to be unpolished and the faded bezel matches well with the overall look of the watch. This Tudor is from 1970 and the serial is in the 740xxx range. I understand that the shield dial was made only for one year? Another great addition to my collection.

I would say the collection has evolved quite a bit after setting certain parameters and thanks for the compliment.

great pick up - there is a high chance the dial is a service dial.

The 7016 I have seen generally came in a snowflake variation or a similar 7928 dial variation.

the two liner with shield logo is often a service dial variation.

Can we get a collection shot sometime? I've noticed a few of your incoming threads over the years and you find some real gems.

Last time i took a class photo of my collection was 4 years ago and below is the picture.

Since then the collection has evolved into a more focused selection of milestone watches of certain brands.

Maybe i will do a class photo again soon.

Fantastic watch. With an original Tropic rubber it would be wonderful.
