Had a 2254.50 and let it go for a SeaDweller which I flipped for a LM PO LE which I sacrificed for my wife's hearing aids. Eventually snagged an 8500 PO which was too thick for me to wear comfortably. A couple of months ago I picked up a NOS 2500 PO which just didn't "trip my trigger" either.

So I found myself without a diver and longed for my first love, my modded 2254.50 with the non-AC dial and 2500 PO second hand. A quick click of www.watchrecon.com revealed an identically modded 2254.50 for sale. Done deal:

Love the simplicity, "Speedy" bracelet, slim case, and accuracy/reliability of the tried and true cal. 1120 movement.

If you watch the TV series "Ray Donovan" the lead character is often wearing one.

He has a lot of nice watches... so watch spotting is fun in the series.

Yup, he wears a 2264 quartz version almost all of the time on the show. Looks fantastic! (And a great show!)

Couldn't agree more. Much like yourself, I just keep coming back to the 2254.50 so it must be 'the one' for me. And the non-AC dial and PO second hand is a genuine improvement IMO. I'm due to receive mine back next week with an additional PO crystal and bezel to boot. This is what I can't wait to see (pics borrowed from WUS)...

One of my favorite dive watches of all time! Love the lume and how it fits on my wrist.
