Well the basic questions are:

1 - Do you want a destro?
2 - Do you want a luminor instead of a radiomir?

If you answer yes to both then go for it, if you don't then stick with the 183

Prices seem to range from $5000US to $6000US, i'd go a maximum of $5500US for secondhand and good condition.

Don't do it! I think it is something you would bitterly regret doing. You obviously wear your watches on your left wrist, leave the Destro's to right hand wearers. I have tried one on my right wrist and it just don't feel right. My brother wears his watch on his right wrist and I am always on the look out for a nice Destro for him.

but this is the trade value isn't it...so it's abt 300-500 more for straight cash sale...price wise depends on the set also. Bnib,or preowned etc. To me, it's definetly not an attractive price...

Hi Heru,

If you were wearing your watch on your right hand, I would say yes. But since you don't, I would personally leave the interest to perusing the pictures on the web. I'm with you though and think there is something very compelling about a Destro.

Personally, I think the 219 is compelling. Base - clean and Destro IMHO - is unique on its own...

Wearing a Destro takes a little getting used to if you wear your watches on your left wrist, especially a large watch like the 219. I had a U-Boat Left Hook in my collection for a while and I just couldn't get used to how it felt. They are unique though I say if it sings to you, then by all means pull the trigger.
