Good Evening from a new member...
Just wanted to say hello - I'm an admirer of all things Rolex. Graduated from University not too long ago and I'm looking to start my collection.
Actually the first peice I purchased was for my wife, a Tudor Princess Oysterdate. I myself have an affinity for the Sub and Yachmaster...so I think that is where I'll start. Glad to be here - there is a wealth of knowledge in these pages. Thanks for having me! ~R |

Welcome to our friendly forum. More about people than watches. Go for the Sub, either with or without date. A classic timepiece in a class of it's own. Or the Explorer with a (extra) carbon strap. A 'naked' watch, brought back to the pure essence!

Welcome to TRF!
Congrats on graduating, what where you studying? I've got to agree with Frans here (as much as it pains me ) you can't go wrong with a sub, and some of the yach-masters are very nice indeed. Stick around and have a ball

Hi, congratulations on your graduation. I bought a TT Sub a while back but if I had it (the money) to do again, I'd go for the platinum/stainless Yacht-Master. To me that's a killer Rolex.

Thankyou for the warm welcome...studied advertising and marketing in school. Can't tell you how dissapointed I was when the forum was closed down (and how excited I am that its back). Thanks to everyone involved for getting things back up and running.
I'll let you know when I pick up my first "real" Rolex...hopefully around the first of the year. Cheers, ~R |
