Omega 2022 New Releases

Mine does. They all do. It’s the exact same bracelet and it’s a great bracelet too. Not sure why people whine and complain about it all the time. Way better than the Tudor BB 58.

There’s more! 34 and 38 Seamaster Aqua Terras. Sort of refined OPs with dates.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Omega loves Rolex.

So far there has been a lot of “homage” to Rolex.
1. “John Mayer” green Speedy
2. Yellow gold panda Speedy “Oyster flex”
3. “Hulk” SMP300
4. Colorful “OP” seamaster

Since we're copying everyone else's playbook...Where's the Tiffany dial?

So they're like Rolex, but... Available?

In all seriousness I like a lot of what Omega does and they stand apart from Rolex in a good way. I'd take a 2254.50 or 1st or 2nd gen 42mm PO over these current iterations. Maybe they will grow on me.

Saw this on IG and loved it

Although there’s some direct comparisons to the Rolex models - I think they absolutely hit it out of the park with these new releases - really well done.

Well I couldn't resist...

I'll be getting the first green SMP 300m my dealer receives. Not sure what I'll do with my white dial SMP but I'll make that decision once I have both in hand.

The 18 plus mm thickness for ultra is laughable. I will stick to my sd43. Much prefer the op to anyone of those aqua colors .

Looks great. Love the gold on bracelet or rubber. Probably wouldn't buy the Rolex corporate color version.

I like those two Omega chronographs more than the Rolex.

Not sure that I buy that Omega somehow ripped Rolex off with the green dial Speedy and SMP. Green has become a hot color with just about all brands lately. With the SMP, all they did was add one more color option. With the moonphase, the green and/or bronze green combo is big everywhere.

Now the other two I have to say I think there may be some thievery going on LOL

I don’t know how you can get better evidence than that in terms of Rolex leading, and Omega following.

With that said, I do like the green dial Speedmaster better than the green dial Daytona. I also like how the bezel and dial have the same shade a green on the Diver 300.

Resemblances are uncanny to me. But kudos to Omega on Titanium Ultra Deep! Although that I can never pull that off due to size and thickness (especially considered the added nato loop underneath), it is hell of a watch!
i love Omega but i have to agree with you here... so many of the watches for me have similarities to Rolex... it is what it is i guess...

Not only these are direct rip offs they even went ahead and did the colored dials like OP with their Aqua terras! This is so obvious and wrong!

Why is it wrong? Rolex has a clearly winning formula, and exactly NONE of the Rolex counterparts are available to walk into a =n AD/boutique and buy. This is a genius strategy by Omega, and I hope it pushes the brand closer to the exclusivity/scarcity of Rolex (even though the gap to bridge is very large).

I will be adding at lease one of these to my small collection

Its not necessarily wrong at all. It’s just obvious Rolex leads, Omega follows.

Omega filled the need of attainment. Can’t get a Rolex, go to an Omega boutique and find something similar, in stock, at a lesser price.

It’s not wrong. It’s smart.

Same could be said for others - Patek, AP all unveiled green watches recently following Rolex. I don’t think it’s a matter of a direct rip off, it’s that Rolex is one of the most universally coveted and recognized brands in the world - they “set” the watch market. If a green sub sells for 30k then as a business you’d have to be crazy not to have a complementary offering. Give the people what they want essentially.
