5212A is stunning. I would have no problem owning that. What’s the pricing like on that model? I prefer used.

Way over retail unfortunately. It’s a SS PP. I think mid 50s

Yes, second hand they are in the 45-50k-ish area.

Fun watch to wear

+1. I’ve been super happy with my 5212A too.

Do you know why the secondary price for the 5212A is so high (mrsp is only around 30k). Is it because it's a dress watch in steel?

MSRP is $36k, and after taxes it’s closer to $40k. Probably multiple factors: steel model, new complication, interesting dial but still distinctly patek, and the overall limited production of steel models.

There's really 3 Annual Calendars that I think are amazing and could be end-game pieces if you'd prefer to not worry as much about cost, maintenance, and servicing times/costs of grand complications.

5146 , 5396 , 5205. Pick your flavor and you'll be a happy man.

A quick hello from my ol friend:

Agreed with the guys. 5146 or 5230 world time. Love the 5212a as well, but above OP's stated budget.

5235G, it's Patek's anti-Patek. Incredible watch.
