Glycine Airman SST 06

This is my new (to me) Glycine Airman SST 06 .

This is a 24 Hour watch, the Purist version meaning that the hour hand does only one revolution on the dial during the day. Gray side is AM and Black side is PM.

Was a more than complete package

I am TOTALLY in love with this beauty

Here are some quick pics for your viewing pleasure.

Enjoy

A pic borrowed from the net that shows what i received. Actually mine had 2 more straps from the seller, another leather and a rubber one

2 pics of the actual watch from the seller

Mine pics below

Take notice of the unique and magnificent case of the watch that gives a vintage touch to the watch

A pic borrowed from the net that shows the great quality of the solid links jubilee style bracelet of the watch

I saw one of these and tried it on in a shop in Melbourne. Instantly it "spoke" to me the fit was the most comfortable I had ever put on my wrist. the curved case was a perfect fit on my wrist. Money shortage and a recent seadweller purchase held me back. I then put that watch in the back of my mind. ........Now I am hungry for it again.......this one post is going to cost me money ....thanks !! lol

@model7el
@cyglee

Thank you guys

@wildsidemtb

You want regret it a bit (you have tried it on and you already know it).
Have in mind, that it discontinued, or OUT OF STOCK AT THE FACTORY, as it says the company site.
The watch is unique, a modern vintage and it screams quality.
It's even better in real life than the pics. I am staring the dial for hours.
I have it 3 days and i am catching a lot of people to look at it while we talk

Great looking watch, Panos!

Does it take some time to adjust to the 24 hour layout vs 12?

Congrats and enjoy,
dP

Thank you very much, Sir

It actually takes some time but that's the fun it. You look the watch more time

A quick trick until i get used to it, is to turn the 24hour orange bezel so it shows the 12 on top and the 24 below.

So under the numbers 13 to 24 you have the 1 to 12 (in the orange bezel), that makes your life a little bit easier
