Dials UV Rays and the like.....

Following on from a recent thread Rolex, 16660 Sea-dweller w/ crazy dial?

I got to wondering the effects that UV rays have on dials especially magnified through the Cyclops eye..... potential damage being caused, and prevention especially on vintage Rolex's.

any thoughts?
