Bingo, I'm in engineering sales. This goes a long way that's why I asked the question.

I wear mine pretty much everywhere, it doesn't come off my wrist once I put it on in the morning.

When you're sitting across the table from a plant manager with two children, wife, mcmansion mortgage, and a new M5 in the garage, wearing a Timex, it's not the place.

Breitling everywhere. Rolex everywhere except when I visit customers with my reps. I touched on this in a previous thread, but someone got all pissy. It really all depends what profession you're in. I'm in industrial manufacturing and distribution, most of my customers are salt of the earth uneducated people who don't take kindly to fancy watches or European cars. Maybe if you are in something like medical sales or software sales it wouldn't hurt you. A close friend of mine is a successful salesman for a directional drilling company. He got shit from customers for driving a new Denali. Needless to say no Rolex on those calls.

However, when I travel abroad to visit my vendors I wear whatever I want. If anything it helps me there.

Nothing new, a lot of people look down on those who can afford nicer things, and I really just think it comes down to jealousy. What could be a more accurate reason? Maybe we should all wear loin cloths so no one can feel bad. Who gives a shit what someone is driving or wearing. This comes up time and time again, and it's frustrating.

I wear my BLNR 24/7, no matter the scenario.

I've worn my DSSD everywhere the last 18+ months... even to minesites.
Even my 116520 hasn't seen any wrist time & doubt my new 116500 will either.

Nobody cares about your Milgauss. Maybe a gold blue sub or DD40 but you are safe to wear it anywhere. People are just not into watches that much.

I really hope that this is tongue in cheek like the rest of the statement.

Since getting my Explorer back in September 16, I have worn it everywhere, everyday. This includes winter mountaineering, ski touring, canyoning, coasteering, canoeing and kayaking. The only time I don't wear it is climbing due to the likelihood of scraping it on the rock and mountain biking due to the continual jarring on fast descents.

I hope so too, . There are a lot of places, even here in New England where I wouldn't want people to know what sort of what I'm wearing. Lot of crazies out there.

I work around machinery, most of it concerned with marine, automotive, and metalworking. I don't wear any watch while doing that, and I have never worn rings for the same reason. The rest of the day I wear a Rolex.
I am not concerned with what others think and there is little reason to be as so few have ever noticed either of my watches. I expected my Coke GMT to get more attention than the SubC, but that has never happened.

I wear my Rolex when not wearing my Breitling and visa versa.
It's not about where I am going but rather my mood, unless water bound, where I would never take my Navitimer.

As many places as I can.

That being said, I'm in front of our largest clients on a regular basis and can completely understand your hesitancy. IMO, only you know your clients and how each may react. Clients never are rational

Do you think our wives worry about wearing their diamond rings? Just saying I'd guess a number of our spouses on here have rings that cost more than say an explorer. That said I'm heading to Peurto Rico soon for my first time... ill probably leave the Rolex at home and bring my tag as I'm more likely to not have a watch on my wrist 24/7 and having never been there don't want it to be a concern of mine.

Have you ever wakeboarded with one? I used too and it was a big mistake.
I still surf with it on though because I dont go very fast but I always put duct tape over the clasp to keep it from popping open.

Pretty much 24/7. Which is interesting for me - I tend to get a little "that's my nice XXXXX!"
But, for some reason, I don't care that my Daytona is getting love scratches.
I'm in real estate and wear it with every client. No apologies.
However, I am on the intake intake team with a very large Golden Retriever rescue. If I'm picking up a dog in a situation that I' m a bit leary off, I will take it off then.
Oh and sometimes at night when I'm probably watching some mind numbing TV, I take it off just to feel the actual weight in my hand.

Where do you wear your Rolex?

Wrist wear changes based on circumstances.

All the time, and everywhere. For me owning a Rolex is super cool so why wouldn’t I wear it. I did take it off to wrench on my bike this afternoon.

For me, I have a sports model, so unless the person is a WIS, they don't notice it. So I wear mine everywhere and all the time (except when sleeping)

By the time the holidays are over I will have 7 and I wear one 24 7. I swap them out and wear my 16610 to work.
