Tudor Black Bay Black mod
Hello,
I would like to swap the hands from the snowflake to pencil type hands similar to the limited edition watch they auctioned for charity. Does anyone know if this is possible with the new movement? Any recs on who would be the best watchmaker to talk to regarding this modification. Would the ETA version be abetter option for the modification. I want to go from snowflakes to this: |

When the Black Bay 79220n first released in late 2015 their was one fella that managed to pop a Mercedes handset on his. It looked stunning.
I have to think if he managed that then you can do this if you track down the correct donor parts. You'll have a much better shot with an ETA model though like his was. |

Does anyone know where I could source parts for the Tudor in house movement? What about the ETA movement? Thanks!

Looks good but the Snowflake helps differentiate it from a sub so I like that.

I would think the ETA would be easier to find aftermarket hands that fit the movement, but I am far from an expert, not sure how the hands are different.

Initially I wasn't a big fan of the snowflake hands, but it is really a big part of Tudor's dive watches' history. I've grown fond of them.

May be trial and error with the in house movement. With the eta it is much easier. Just find a set of old Tudor sub 2824 hands. The reason I did it with my blue and not the red or black was the fear of getting the gilt color exactly right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Have you already sourced the hands?
Good looking watch, IMO. |
