Looks like I'm not the only one on pins and needles for AUPH...

Dropped another 50k into BCRX today. Good, albeit expected, news on the Orladeyo front with Japan approval. Let's go with great sales numbers next!

Yeah holding strong here, it's just a fraction of my underlying share holdings but nice returns for now. You have an exit plan or already out?

Nice, congrats!

I noticed there is a black box warning for malignancy and serious infection. Not a surprise given it is a drug very similar to cyclosporine, but does this affect market reaction Monday? Not suggesting there will be a negative reaction, since it really isn’t an unexpected warning in my view, just wondering as I’m not too familiar with market reaction to these things.

Brave! Some of the Wallstreet Bets Subreddit gains definitely make me feel FOMO. I rode it from 18 to 40. This guy (not me obviously) on Reddit has been posting his entire journey. Guys got big stones not to sell.

And another:

Again, neither of which are mine. (Sadly) But impressive nonetheless.

Let's talk $AAPL and $TSLA, shall we? Long via cash secured puts and call spreads. You have to imagine the street is baking in and anticipating profits for both next week. So I don't imagine any monster beats and/or surprises. But rather affirmation for continued slow growth for each. Earnings season is always wild, so there's bound to be some misses or bad guidance. But it feels like there's a pretty strong tailwind lately with the administration.

I wasn't watching the options on this one. If you sold puts or bought calls you should be very happy come Monday.

Don't generally stay as engaged over the weekend, but this is a great article on valuations and the current state of the market.

I bought 400 shares of grwg at 2 bucks a few years ago. Its almost 50 now. With the federal legalization of marijuana coming with Biden this company will have supply stores in all 50 states. My target price is 100 bucks a share. I may sell half and see what the other half does. Check it out.

This has been fascinating to watch play out. Early in the year he was getting railed for not cashing in.....but here he is up $11mm! Also the battle that has played out with retail vs institutional has been hilarious. It's been on one my favorite subs to follow and yes, the FOMO/YOLO is hard to resist. I love that subreddit and props to DFV for having the biggest of stones.

Indeed, and he’s quite the YouTube personality as well now. This epic battle has sucked me into Reddit, and actually made me pay attention to my GME shares. Bought in years ago for the fat dividend and was too lazy to sell after they cut it to $0. Certainly not complaining now.

The whole ordeal has also ignited interest in the options market among new retail traders, for better or worse.. Probably worse. The chains for February are truly something to behold. If one’s not into the whole short squeeze thing, IV has practically made writing covered calls a license to build a new Porsche (with European delivery to boot). The situation is really insane.

I’m not an investment advisor. Do your own research etc.

* not a political post *

This become public recently. Saw this on Twitter (Sawyer Merritt & Jon Najarian).

“12/22 $TSLA @ $630, so a Mar 2022 $500 call about $130 intrinsic + $200 extrinsic. $330 x 100 x 25 = $825K. By Jan 8 that was $1.4M...I think this is the best advertisement for stock replacement strategies you can find :-) “ by Jon N.

Also bought DIS & AAPL call leaps.

HUGE news for us on Friday, I think most people were weighing in on FDA approval but completely overlooked the patent extension. It was 2027 vs 2037 for patent protection and the market was definitely NOT pricing in 2037. That is 10 more years of protected revenue which will be very important in a buyout which WILL happen. CEO already said he is open to it and they hired specific individuals to their c-suite and board that have extensive M&A experience. I suspect this will run tomorrow after the t1 halt is removed, I will probably trim some of my exposure to re-deploy capital and let the rest of my calls ride until buyout. Hopefully a few people caught onto it from my post last Tuesday, this should be good for 3-400% call returns.

You got it boys, glad we are all making money just don't forget to give back to charity, they need it now more than ever.

Now as good as the news was I posted last week on TAK with working with MRNA for Japan distribution, even better news came out over the weekend https://montreal.ctvnews.ca/mobile/q...d-19-1.5279310. Researches found an existing oral tablet, colchicine, to effectively treat COVID and made by none other, Takada. If this comes to fruition and with the army of Cathie ARK supporters, this is going to go on one hell of a run, 3b share float or not.

I know a few of you have asked about my exit strategy, I will do a brief writeup on how I build portfolios to understand my exit strategy. Then the writeup on generating income through covered calls and writing puts. I have a long flight back from a scuba diving trip in Belize so that will give me time tomorrow.

Wow, that’s impressive! This guy must really believe in GameStop!

Makes me wish I knew how to utilize options. Having said that, I don’t typically invest in these very speculative positions.

Fascinating, nonetheless.

Anyone buying puts here?

Is this a stocks exclusive thread or are you all open to discussion crypto currencies?

The innovation happening in the blockchain space is phenomenal and open for all to get in early.

Really curious to hear thoughts?

Agree there's another thread. My own brief opinion is simply that while blockchain technology will very clearly have utility, blockchain does not equal cryptocurrency, in that an investment in crypto is not an investment in blockchain and vice versa. And that's all I have to say about that.
