Best watch for $100

Post says it all!!

I am doing a secret Santa with me siblings and $100 is the limit.

I got one fo my youngest brothers (they’re quadruplets) and are sophomores in high school. I know they all have an interest in watches as they always like to check out what I am wearing. So with that said, what are your buying the next gen?!

Seiko 5 sports fits the budget and I particularly like the display/exhibition back. That can be a window into the passion for a younger enthusiast.

Or go Seiko 5 or anything else and lie about the budget. It’s for a good cause :)

What’s the difference to the Japan model?

The Seiko 5 for sure. I got my oldest one and he loves it. The exhibition caseback as well is pretty cool for a kid with watch interests. It’s cool enough for what it costs I find myself playing with it at times.

So, a little more but, dang, these are really nice for a quartz watch....

I have a cheaper Timex Expedition that is my mountain biking and backpacking watch and I love the thing.

Yep, except if you don't already love G-Shock, you wouldn't probably hate using it, because of the size of LCD and the numbers showing up. :p

But its oh-so-cool looking and very comfortable on the wrist. I do love both of mine.

For $100 automatic, this will be what I pick

Seiko 5 watches are a great deal and many are under $100.

Just checked some of those out and they are kind of cool for what they are. Something about the sort of quirkiness but military vibes are pretty cool.
