Audi A4 lease expires in June. Next?

I do like the car very much. However, I am open to a new ride. BMW 3, Volvo S60, Mercedes C.

Probably more costly, though. I have the more powerful engine of the A4 and enjoy the hp.

What's your budget (A4-ish?) and how aggressive do you drive the vehicle?

A4 is one of the best vehicles in its class, outside of long term maintenance which you're not privy too since you're wisely leasing. They were blowing out Infiniti Q50 Red Sport not long ago if you want more power/fun but is willing to sacrifice some of the interior cabin quality.

I think it costs less than the Audi A4 to lease. Would not mind lower costs.

The new 3 series is really nice. If you can spring for a M340 do it, it's basically an M3. Super fast.

M3 with a more livable suspension. And BMW often subsidizes their leases, making it more affordable than an S4/S5.

Volvo S60 leases are very competitive. They’re desperate to take share from the others you’re considering. Get one with all the trimmings and don’t look back.

Have you driven a Tesla Model 3 dual motor? I’m a former M3 owner and the Tesla is way more fun to drive. Give it a shot, you may like it more than you think.

The three years sped by. Like everyone else, I was somewhat grounded by the pandemic. Hope I have more places to go in the next three years and best of health to my fellow drivers.

M340 is the best car for the money in that class. Period. I drove one and was blown away for the price.

Depends on what you like. The 3 in my opinion is probably best in class right now as an all-arounder. If you like modern design and comfort, the S60 is an interesting choice. Like something sporty and different? Check out the Alfa Romeo Giulia. The new Acura TLX is an interesting choice as well.

At the end of the day they're all great cars. I really don't think you could go wrong with anything in that class.

OP,
time to flip the coin over and buy electric. I have an EV, my lease comes to an end in October and I will never go back to an ICE car.
Look at the Tesla Model 3, long range, it has a 350 mile range.
One day, all cars will be electric, get on the band wagon now. You will never regret or look back.

The A4 has been updated. Check one out for sure. BMW is a great choice and may lease cheaper than the A4.

I'll echo this. If you are open too it, try out an electric Porsche or Tesla. The torque and power delivery are addictive.

model 3 would be a no brainer in its class if the interior wasn't so bad. huge turn off imo

If you’re going to consider electric, look at the Audi Etron. They sell well for us. As for a lease, the A4 is your best bet. Check out the 2021 A4.

My Audi dealer is sending me monthly offer letters in which they are proposing a lease for the same monthly payment as I am paying now. The only problem is that the A4 that they are proposing has a MSRP of $6000 less than my current car, as well as a less powerful engine.

I am finding it kind of insulting. I assume most Audi owners can see through this. Perhaps I am overthinking it. I guess it’s a form letter.

We drove through the lot of a BMW dealer. I thought the 3 series looked good. I owned one in the 1990s. Still open minded

My friend got the Alfa Romeo just to be different than other people...that is definitely a car to lease, not buy.

I’m partial to MBZ myself, but I have the AMG GLC43 SUV. I do too much grocery shopping and hauling for a sedan. It says something about my stage in life, but literally every home on my street has at least one SUV. Next door, all three vehicles are SUVS. So, I can’t help with sedan recommendations. The smaller SUVs do handle well, and the suspension is adjustable so you can be lower to the ground.

Another friend leased the Audi A7 sedan, and loves it.

My wife and I dislike SUVs. We are vertically challenged, so getting in and out is a pain. We also like the driving characteristics of a sedan.

We are the two last people without an SUV and not on Facebook.

I’d look at Mercedes and Bmw 340i if you are leasing.
